Absolutely! I must admit though that I had horse in Europe and did not like it. It smelled to much like dog food. General Beauregard (my dog) loves it and would eat the whole horse if I let him.

The fish did not become a symbol of Christianity because Christians ate fish. It was an acronym. I think it meant (and I may be a bit off) “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior” The symbol was used so Christians in the early church could identify themselves to each other to avoid persecution.

You are not a bit off, that’s exactly right. The Greek word for fish was ichthus.
Iesous (Jesus), CHristos (Christ), THeou (of God), Uiou (the Son), Soter (the Saviour)
