I’ve kept up with Hamatora, Witch Craft Works, and Hozuki no Reitetsu this season pretty well. All three are varying levels of good.I know I’m late but just wanted to give my 2 cents. The yaoi/yuri toned shows some blatant like Free/Sakura Trick some with more of a subtext like any magical girl show or CLAMP show aren’t really about homosexuality. It’s more about fanservice and fetishism. The core audience aren’t lgbt, rather otaku or fujoshi who like those sort of things.
Now that the season has ended I feel that this season wasn’t that good. I’ve only finished one show this season and it was Zvezda which ended somewhat disappointingly.
The only things that kept me watching this season were the continuing series from previous seasons.
Log Horizon ended very well and I’m happy it will be extended next fall.
Space Brothers also ended, but the manga will keep me going.
Gundam Build Fighters will end this week and the ride was oh so good. The battles between the “toy” gundams were very well executed and at many times superior to those in found in the main TV series. It was also good to see cameos/easter eggs of characters in previous Gundam shows that Tomino killed off, living a happy life in the Gundam Build Fighters universe. ;_; Chris, Bernie and Al enjoying the festivities.
Anyway, It’s nice to see Star Trek fans in here. So guys what are your favorite Space related anime. I’m more of a mecha/space opera type so I gravitate towards watching those type of anime.
I want to catch up on Noragami and D-Frag, too.
