**First off, when i was younger I used to be attractive enough to attract a lot of male attention. It was unwanted (mostly) and often downright creepy (when the guys were as old or older than my dad). So I can sort of understand where you are coming from. BUT I think you are really over reacting.
As Christians we are called to charity. In that vein, we are supposed to ascribe the best possible motives to others’ behavior unless they prove otherwise. I am sure that there are some girls who stare at you because they “want” you because they think you’re rich. But I bet a lot of them are admiring something about you, or thinking other positive things. Not everyone who looks/stares at a member of the opposite sex is being crude or lustful.
Another thing…have you EVER stared at a girl with lustful thoughts? Maybe you think that just because you do, that everyone does? Have you ever admired a woman’s beauty, or hairstyle, or “look” without having lustful thoughts? It is possible and it may be very likely with the girls who are staring at you…
but I do agree with you on one point…schools should go back to being all girl and all boy. Especially in the years approaching puberty and beyond. It is hard enough to focus on learning without the thoughts that the opposite sex in such close proximity bring on. (either lustful thoughts or thoughts of being objectified).
