I would be interested to see what other posters have to say about “annul-proofing” one’s marriage. I think that it ought not to be necessary. Obtaining a declaration of nullity should be a rarity.
How does denying nullity make a marriage survive? Are you instead saying that the Tribunals are in error declaring them null? If that is the case then the Holy See needs to continue to overturn them.
Are you saying that divorced people should merely continue to presume they were validly married even if they weren’t?
These are honest questions. I have known more than one person who sought Decree of Nullity just “to know.” Many have no intention of seeking marriage again.
