no i never asked you what you believed :confused: you were asked to give an example that would prove to us (christians) that god saved a prophet. Now why would we want an example from a book we dont believe in?

Honestly, think about what you’re asking. This is like me telling you to prove to me, who doesn’t believe in the Bible, that Jesus (PBUH) said he was God without using the Bible. If you can do that, then what you asked me is fair.

In any case, the original question was posed by someone else, not you, and was merely asking, what other prophets other than Jesus (PBUH) were saved by God in the last minute. Even the reference to Jesus’ salvation is from the Qur’an, so naturally, another example would also come from the Qur’an.

Go back to the original poster’s question and see whether what you are asking is not something else entirely. I was never asked to prove anything, much less do it only using the Bible. Nor do I have to prove anything to answer the question. The entire context of what you’re arguing is meaningless in this discussion.
 
Aaaaha … So there goes the reason for Mohammad’s violence. Allah was not going to let the same thing happen again, more so to his “last messenger”, so he commanded the messenger to … err… :confused: emmm… sort of " slay them wherever you find them ". Allah introduced a new strategy, i.e. that of distinction between humankind which is the **enemies of Islam ** on the one hand and the **brotherhood of Islam ** on the other. Where previously God’s adversary is Satan, it now take on a totally different meaning, the enemies of Islam are non-believers!

Matthew 5:12 has Jesus saying something similar to this. He teaches that we should be happy if we are persecuted, since the persecutor is only repeating the actions of their forefathers who persecuted the righteous people who came before us.

Also, with regard to Islam, Fr. John Corapi said something along these lines on EWTN the other day:

“What is the symbol of Islam?..the moon,
and what is under Our Lady’s feet?..the moon.
Remember that!!!”

Following up on that, here’s a quote from St. Louis De Montfort:

“The most fearful enemy God has set up against the devil is Mary, His Holy Mother. Mary has become as terrible as an army set in battle array.” 👍

apparently, you’ve forgotten what’s mentioned in the OT of Allah asking the believers to wipe out entire cities and towns… just three references to such passages: I samuel 15:2-3, numbers 31:17-18 & deuteronomy 13:6-18. the alleged implications of the verses you allude to in light of these biblical passages is hardly something new…

And you just have to keep bringing that up, don’t you, to justify the return to violence instigated by Allah/Mohammed! I’m sure God in the OT had a better reason for his punishments, than just to inflict pain on people!

I wish an apologist would answer the question of the OT harsh punishments that would silence you from bringing this up again to justify crimes against humanity.

And as for the killing of apostates being legitimate, the answer is:

you tend to miss the point of why things are mentioned pretty often… :rolleyes: .no one mentioned anything about killing apostates. so why bring it up now?

Muslims always accuse us of using corrupted “books”, seriously, I want to know where can I find uncorrupted books? Somebody, please help!
 
I’m on other forum as well and you know what M1? a muslim also was ooking forward for uncorrupted bible. he desperately wanted to see that and wishing dead sea scrolls would contain something about koran 😃

I am afraid that our friend footy confused on how we see the jews slew their prophets according to Islam. The story of course would be different when you see it in the Christian light of view. Hope you understand that. 🙂
