Yep. You’re asking us what we believe, are you not?so basically your quoting from a book which we dont believe in?

no i never asked you what you believedYep. You’re asking us what we believe, are you not?
Honestly, think about what you’re asking. This is like me telling you to prove to me, who doesn’t believe in the Bible, that Jesus (PBUH) said he was God without using the Bible. If you can do that, then what you asked me is fair.would prove to us (christians) that god saved a prophet. Now why would we want an example from a book we dont believe in?
Matthew 5:12 has Jesus saying something similar to this. He teaches that we should be happy if we are persecuted, since the persecutor is only repeating the actions of their forefathers who persecuted the righteous people who came before us.We believe the children of Israel killed many of their prophets and messengers. Whenever a messenger came to them with something that is against their desires they either disbelieved in them or killed them or both.

Very true.Matthew 5:12 has Jesus saying something similar to this. He teaches that we should be happy if we are persecuted, since the persecutor is only repeating the actions of their forefathers who persecuted the righteous people who came before us.
apparently, you’ve forgotten what’s mentioned in the OT of Allah asking the believers to wipe out entire cities and towns… just three references to such passages: I samuel 15:2-3, numbers 31:17-18 & deuteronomy 13:6-18. the alleged implications of the verses you allude to in light of these biblical passages is hardly something new…Allah introduced a new strategy
And you just have to keep bringing that up, don’t you, to justify the return to violence instigated by Allah/Mohammed! I’m sure God in the OT had a better reason for his punishments, than just to inflict pain on people!apparently, you’ve forgotten what’s mentioned in the OT of Allah asking the believers to wipe out entire cities and towns… just three references to such passages: I samuel 15:2-3, numbers 31:17-18 & deuteronomy 13:6-18. the alleged implications of the verses you allude to in light of these biblical passages is hardly something new…
you tend to miss the point of why things are mentioned pretty often…And you just have to keep bringing that up, don’t you, to justify the return to violence instigated by Allah/Mohammed! I’m sure God in the OT had a better reason for his punishments, than just to inflict pain on people!
…
And as for the killing of apostates being legitimate, the answer is:
NO!
I brought it up because the moderator had closed the thread!you tend to miss the point of why things are mentioned pretty often….no one mentioned anything about killing apostates. so why bring it up now?
and just so it’s clear to you: i mentioned those passages in relation to what i quoted from ching.
VALIDevery time, there came to them a messenger with what they themselves desired not - some they called impostors, and some they slay.

maybe you should see a christian view of the quaran?I think you should go to see in Islamic view. Are you Christian?
I am afraid that our friend footy confused on how we see the jews slew their prophets according to Islam. The story of course would be different when you see it in the Christian light of view. Hope you understand that.maybe you should see a christian view of the quaran?
I know nothing about slaying the prophets by the Jews. I am sorry footy.honey, I see the verses about slaying, but I still don’t have the name of the slayed prophets…so I am still waiting. Just in case you want to give me…
