Funny how you are quick to judge someone’s heart prior to becoming Catholic and now since they are Catholic you can’t answer my question. Tell me Auburn, other than knowing that this individual was a Lutheran who converted to Catholicism, how do you know he was not a Christian? You know, since one is not Christian (or a Christian) based on their churchPeople are Christians or not Christians on an individual basis. Belonging to any religious organization doesn’t make one a Christian. It is just as possible to be a Catholic, yet not be a Christian, as it is to be a member of any Christian denomination and not be a Christian.
And no it is not possible to be Catholic and not a Christian. To be Catholic is to be Christian. It would be like saying it is possible to be among the living while dead.
God bless
