AMEN sister!I believe many people ought to read Norma McCorvey’s book “Won by Love”… she’s the Jane Roe of Roe v Wade. You want to see lies and deceit?? That has it all…
I personally think that graphic posters are acceptable. You can’t shield your child from everything and there is a way to explain it in a manner that a child can grasp. I fully believe they see worse on TV during either news or just in general. Look at where Sesame Street has gone. How about those pictures on People magazine and others that have women scantily clad and the magazine is in the magazine rack right there by the candy? What about the couples snuggling and hanging all over each other, wearing hardly anything, and not married on those same magazines? People get too politically correct with the truth. Why do we have to be nice to others views from fear of hurting their feelings when it’s obvious they aren’t even remotely close to knowing the truth? And I’m sickened that pregnancy is a choice. That choice should have been made before engaging in sex. Two things come from getting pregnant… a baby that brings joy (and yes, growing pains)… or an abortion… that brings NOTHING but a lifetime of heartache, pain, suffering. And that’s a proven fact. Not just a pro-lifers opinion. :banghead:
I’m sorry to sound so strongly, but I’ve lived the lies, not once but twice. :crying: I was strong-armed into having my first abortion and then lead like a sick dog to have the second. I spiraled downward for 10 years in self destructive behavior. I knew what I did was wrong but I didn’t have the courage to stand by myself. Everyone around me fed me the liberal lie of “it’ll be better this way”. I was so consumed by shame from the first one, I actually felt like a hypocrite if I was to say no to my boyfriend for the second one. Instead of standing up for what I believed… By the grace of God and a Rachels’ Vineyard retreat… I have hope back.
So no… I don’t think it’s too graphic for children to see… why make excuses to not allow your children to see the truth but yet allow them to be subjected to the sex and other immorality going on in today’s society? I am not trying to tell people how to raise their children, but I find it hypocritical to say that it’s too graphic to show what abortion really is but yet allow sex and other perverse behaviors to be prevailent in a childs’ life.
God bless ya’ll!!!
