Priests wear that long black robe to conceal their cloven hooves. The parish I left had one such man,but then this is the Archdiocese Rembert Weakland destroyed with his Pink Palace Seminary.

:rotfl:

I did hear that Jews wear a head covering to hide their horns so perhaps Catholics can feel better. 😃

Here’s few others.

The Pope’s the Antichrist.

According to Revelation,

Pius XI was the first Pope to become an emperor because of Latern Treaty and is the first of the 10 horns of the beast in Revelation. All the other horns are the Pope’s that followed.

The next Pope will be the last. He will look like JP II but will be a devil from the abyss, will do great things, and will be the Antichrist. (The rest were just kinda practicing at it.)

Ulster Protestants are descendants of the lost tribes of Israel, (only Ulster Protestants now!) and Elizabeth I was a direct descendant of King David.

The Mass is a satanic rite and anyone who goes to a Mass, even as an onlooker at a wedding or funeral could end up being controlled by the devil.

  1. The Catholic Church was founded by Constantine in the year 300
  2. The Catholic Church was behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln
  3. The Catholic Church killed 65 million people during the inquisition.
  4. Many years ago was this one: Catholic Churches have basements where they store guns, rifles, and ammunition so they can start a revolution and take over the world.
  5. The Catholic Church conspired with Hitler to start WWII
  6. And this local one: A Christian conference was being planned in our city many years ago and one local, and now famous, TV evangelist said that the CC was bringing in some hypnotists who were expert in mass hypnosis and they would attempt to induce all non-Catholics to convert to the CC.

I know of a Benedictine monk who was once on a bus wearing his habit (i.e., a long black robe) and a woman sitting across from him brought up this “whopper”. She actually believed it. In order to convince her of the absurdity of it he had to take his shoes off and prove to her that he did not have a cloven hoof.

One of the oddest anti-Catholic whoppers I heard was on an Art Bell interview with Fr Malachi Martin. I believe martin claimed that lucifer was enthroned in the vatican sometime in the 1960s!! At least I think it was Malachi Martin talking in the interview.

Another funny one was that the Illuminati are initiated during child sacrifice ceremonies deep in the vatican vaults.I supose that is not realy funny but rather sick and disturbed for someone to push their anti-Catholic agenda to such an extreme.

Last but not least is the notion that the vatican knows we were actually created by super alien beings and we are all hybrids of these entities. They are just suppressing the knowledge to control us.

All this rubbish I found surfing online except the last one which was told to me by a man who appeared to be perhaps Jewish(He used the term goyim a lot)

And she probably still didn’t believe him.

Although this isn’t exactly an anti-catholic whopper, I think it’s along those lines.

There’s an Elim Church near were I live that looks exactly like a Klu Klux Klan mask. It even had windows that look like the little slits for the eyes. I think the Architect meant it to look like that because there is no way he/she couldn’t have noticed it looked like a Klu Klux Klan mask.

What do you think the message is? 😃

I am not familiar with an “Elim” church. I know for a fact that the KKK was very opposed to Catholics and thought them the same as Jews and ethnic minorities. In order to join the KKK you needed to be a white, protestant male. If an Elim church is protestant I suppose it could have a connection, however if it has any connection to the Catholic Church it is likely not related.

The ‘Elim’ Church is Pentecostal - ‘Once saved always saved’ and into the Spirit - faith healing and speaking in tongues, that sort of thing.

I don’t think Elim has any connection to the KKK, I just wonder how you can have a church built that looks so much like a KKK mask - did no one notice and think it maybe wasn’t a good idea? 😃

Thanks for the info, I have learned something new today. Of course, I have a lot to learn!

Just read Internet article referring to the Vatican Bank, implying that it controls the banks throughout the world, and that it was responsible for the 9-11-01 devastation for which Osama bin Laden was erroneously blamed!

I can understand that. 😃

The next thing we know in the interests of political correctness, the Orange Order will open it’s doors to Catholics - just so long as they don’t go to Mass. 😛

What a privilege!

… Words can’t even describe how insane it is to list Hitler as a Roman Catholic. On what fact do they base these claims:confused:
As an infant, Hitler was baptized a Catholic. He was even a choir boy in his parish church.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler%27s_religious_views

Obviously, there was a falling away somewhere along the line, but this gets conveniently left out of the propagandistic statement.

Maybe people who say such things are trying to blame the church for producing him, or trying to attribute Hitler’s evil to the Church. Or both. I suspect there is a logical fallacy in their thinking.

Yep, Hitler was certainly baptized a Catholic. Franco was not only baptized Catholic, he was a devout Catholic, (although I suppose it depends on you’re point of view ) and had a very close relationship with the Catholic Church in Spain. Mussolini was baptized a Catholic. Stalin was baptized Orthodox, as was Lenin. Tennessee Williams, who was gay, converted to Catholicism. Margaret Thatcher converted to Catholicism.

The list could go on but suffice to say, there are many in our ranks whom perhaps we wish weren’t - but they are and we can’t deny it - and of course their names are used to discredit Catholicism.

My answer to these challenges is - it proves that if the Catholic Church are in the business of indoctrinating people and mind control, they are making a very bad job of it! 😃

Obviously, no one bothered to click on the picture. It’s actually one of the images of an Easter religious festival during Holy Week, Alcantarilla, Spain. It was featured in a scene in the 1957 movie Pride and the Passion imdb.com/title/tt0050858/

I suppose someone will try to say it’s proof that the Catholic Church is in cahoots with the KKK.

Are you sure about Thatcher? I heard it said she has recently converted to Catholicism? Certainly there are a lot of people in my part of the world that are a bit disgruntled by it! 😃
Tony Blair was also said to be considering conversion to Catholicism. I don’t know if he ever actually did.

True. I think it may have evolved because she met Pope Benedict. I suppose that would be enough for some people to think she had converted. 😛

Phew! That’s one we can disown! 😃
