It was in the form of a question not an accusation. It was a question. You could always answer yes or no.

I myself have been the recipient of this type of question. No big deal. If the questioner was wholly mistaken I could calmly explain why they were mistaken.

But a masked person being able to spread the disease is A LOT DIFFERENT than saying what you alleged I have said.

A masked person being able to spread the disease is A LOT DIFFERENT than saying NOT wearing a mask PREVENTS transmission of disease.
