Perhaps if Mormons would follow those words, particularly in their relationship with American Indians and Catholics, there would be much less anti-Mormonism. Mormons tend to try to impose their culture on others, to be racist, to be judgmental, to think that only Mormons live in moral integrity, to hold people responsible for the “sins” of their ancestors, to explain human pain and suffering in terms of punishment for personal sin and sins of one’s ancestors, to be sexist, to be extremely homophobic, intolerant of other religions, to prefer their own kind when working in public service and schools, to be intolerant of truthful history, etc, etc, etc.
