:confused: Wait. I thought you were here to save Christians and 1.5 million Muslims from Satan. Now you say you are here for discussion. What are you going to do? Talk the anti christ to death?
 
The antichrist will reject sacred tradition.

– will say that Mary was not immaculately concieved
– he will deny papal infallibility
– he will reject apostolic succession
-will promote women and gay ordination
- because of his promotion of women and gay ordination will reject the holy sacrifice of the mass
– therefore he will reject the sacrament of holy orders
– will say that confession is not necessary
– he will say that divorce is okay, homosexuality is okay
– and will reject the sacrament of marriage
– he will deny the primacy of Peter
– he will promote a false ecumenism
- will say intercommunion is okay
- he will say that all faiths are equal and that there is no certain truth
- he will say that evangelizing the Jews is not necesarry
– will reject the sacrament of baptism
– will reject the sacrament of confirmation
– will say that you don’t have to go to mass and that all you need is that ten commandments
– will reject the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and will say that “it’s just piece of bread.”

  3. He will say that miracles of Jesus Christ are not real miracles
  4. He will say that the gospels are anti-semitic

  7. He will deny the resurrection
  8. He will say there is no afterlife, that this life is all there is
  9. He will call the bible hate speech
  10. Will say that the bible doesn’t condemn homosexuality, abortion or contraception.

I am older. When I was a kid, we were taught that the anti christ would come knocking to evangelize Catholics. If any non catholic knocked on the door and proposed to discuss religion, the Bible, Christ, we were to simply shut the door. Hmmmmm.
 
During the reign of Antichrist.
  1. It will be against the law to celebrate mass, priests who so, will be put to death.
  2. It will be illegal to be loyal to the pope.
  3. It will be against the law to criticize the Antichrist’s government. Anyone who does will be sent to death camps.
  4. He will balance the budget in exchange for personal freedoms
  5. Will run a dictatorship, the worst ever known.
  6. Elijah and Enoch will return preaching a gospel of repentance
  7. The whole of the Jews will finally be converted
  8. The pope along with the eastern orthodox and protestants will oppose the antichrist.
  9. The antichrist will reject repentance.
  10. The pope will be by a man of great sanctity and holiness.
  11. The antichrist after having killed Elijah and Enoch, will think he’s won the war.
  12. But God will raise Elijah and Enoch from the dead
  13. Antichrist will be stung by this news, and will try to emulate Christ ascending into heaven
  14. But Christ will cast him into hell.
Prior to the coming of Antichrist
  1. Churches will be ransacked and burnt to the ground
  2. A massive apostacy
  3. Catholics will be poorly catechized and taught a watered down version of the faith.
  4. Alters and sanctuaries destroyed and desacrated
  5. Ten commandment displays, bibles, crosses and crucifixes will be removed from public schools and buildings
  6. The Vatican will be accused of crimes against humanity
  7. The church will blamed for all the world’s problems
  8. The faith will mocked and rideculed
  9. Chastity and modesty will be mocked
  10. Violent demonstrations from activists organizations claiming to be “inclusive”.
After antichrist.
  1. Things will return to normal
then the four last things
Death
Judgement
Heaven
Hell

I think The Church is wise in the respect of 'not looking under every stone and around every corner!

We must not fall foul of the SDA propaganda that the anti-christ is about to make an appearance. ‘We do not know the day or the hour’ the Lord tells us.

Who knows, he may be hear already he may not appear for another 1000-years.

I am not being critical of my many Protestant brothers and sisters whom I hold dear to my heart but those who are alarmist in disturbing the peace.

The JW’s predicted the end of the world in 1994. They had a particularly fierce campaign in my home area. If folk had listened, we would all be homeless now, still standing in the nearest plowed field waiting…and very cold, wet and hungry.

Listen to what Mother Church is saying and in particular listen also to what she is NOT saying.

Prophecies are not always predictions of the future. Much of Revelation has already happened. It happened nearly 2000 years ago. Some are STILL waiting for events that have already occured :rolleyes:

My point was that there is no “The” “Antichrist”, other than the spirit of antichrist, and the Church, looking for a single antichrist has been blinded to the importance of the 1.5 billion antichrists in Islam alone. In other words “the” antichrist has made its appearance in spades. Islam is the opposite of Christianity.

Here in spades like never before in the last 2000 years, with perhaps the notable exception of the first Jihad which nearly completely conquered the world for Islam/antichrist.

I believe prophecy is never intended to predict the future, and am in the Isaac Newton and Matthew Henry camps on this one too:

“The folly of interpreters has been to foretell times and things by this prophecy [Revelation], as if God designed to make them prophets. By this rashness they have not only exposed themselves, but brought the prophecy also into contempt. The design of God was much otherwise. He gave this and the prophecies of the Old Testament, not to gratify men’s curiosities by enabling them to foreknow things, but that after they were fulfilled they might be interpreted by the event, and his own providence, not the interpreters’, be then manifested thereby to the world. I agree but where we disagree is that I believe that Second Coming prophecy has been being fulfilled steadily as the Christian era has advanced. This is the same understanding that we all share in regard to First Coming prophecy and the Old Testament.

Thus, every man that denies the Father and the Son is antichrist, and also is an antichrist (Jewish blindness, however, may be a separate issue in this regard).

Since there are billions of antichrists - and no shortage from John’s day forward - there cannot be a single antichrist - not then - not today - not ever. An individual antichrist can only ever be just ANOTHER antichrist. One of the reasons the Lord had John write so late ws so he could address heresies that had already arisen plentifully in the church.

You make some very fine points. But just one problem. You say that there cannot be One anti Christ, because there are billions of anti christ. And the anti christ is what dwells in our hearts etc. But there are billions of Christians. Who’s actions are insipred by God. They say God is in their heart when they do such actions. So are you saying that we are all God’s or that there are billions of Gods? I believe that there is one “Boss” anti Christ who influeneces sinners. But since the anti christ is no where as powerful as God who can influenece Billions at once. the anti christ needs help…eg Demons etc. Just my opinion. But you do make some excellent points though

Their hearts. Those that have the spirit of antichrist. Muslims, atheists, etc. BUT Scripture addresses Jewish blindness specifically. etc. But there are billions of Christians. We (ourselves) are the temple of God and of the Holy Ghost. God is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. One God.

Satan gives men the spirit of antichrist. And I agree that we live in a spirit filled world, while on this earth, that includes Satan and his minions. Indeed we saw another graphic demonstration of their power today with another 60 civilians dead and 250 wounded in one incident, in more Islamic bombing of the innocent in Iraq.

Each and every person with the spirit of antichrist is AN antichrist.
Each and every person with a life in God the Father is obviously not God.
Leave that kind of blasphemy to the New Agers.
