I am a 23 year old man who recently has received a position in Maryland while my girlfriend will still be in Minnesota. We have talked about this and we wanted to make it work. I have yet to move to Maryland but this has caused me much stress and worry in my life. I question how it will work between us and it has caused me to get very angry and say things to her that I regret after the fact. Several days ago my anger flared up to the point where I broke up with her which was not my intention at all. I still love her and she loves me and has forgiven me and I still want this relationship to work out, but she says she needs some time to regain my trust, which I fully understand. I just wanted to know if anyone had some good advice to give me on controlling my anger and also not stressing out so much and just trusting that God is leading me where he wants me to go. I might also add that I am not Catholic, I am Lutheran, but she is Catholic and I have been doing a lot of research on Catholicism and have been strongly considering entering the Church.
