I don’t think you have the dispositions for me to be able to offer anything useful. Which is to say that my approach needs a specific mindset.

“Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
- Hebrews 11:1

Pray, like the father in Matt 9:23:
“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Faith is a gift, but one that we also must desire and accept.

Hi. When you next pray, specifically address St Pio and ask him to take you on as his spiritual child. St Pio refuses no one. Then every time you pray ask St Pio to be with you in prayer and turn to him for help / ask for his intercession whenever you need help spiritual or material. St Pio is simply fantastic and wonderful. You will never regret it.

These are approved private revelations/devotions and we are free to accept or reject them.

Catholicism is Faith and Reason, two wings.

The thing about rationalsims and intellectualism is that in flies in the face of faith.
Actually, no.

The Catechism is a good high level reference. It speaks of the importance of reason

50 By natural reason man can know God with certainty, on the basis of his works.

159 Faith and science: “Though faith is above reason, there can never be any real discrepancy between faith and reason. Since the same God who reveals mysteries and infuses faith has bestowed the light of reason on the human mind, God cannot deny himself, nor can truth ever contradict truth.” "Consequently, methodical research in all branches of knowledge, provided it is carried out in a truly scientific manner and does not override moral laws, can never conflict with the faith, because the things of the world and the things of faith derive from the same God. The humble and persevering investigator of the secrets of nature is being led, as it were, by the hand of God in spite of himself, for it is God, the conserver of all things, who made them what they are."
