To be honest it’s the first time I hear such interpretation of this episode. It struck me as very “pro-faith” when I watched it, and I know many other people think the same. Some people were even very “mad” about thisIt also teaches things like “Let’s believe in things not because we understand them, but because they just FEEL right!”
I am referring to the episode when Pinkie Pie’s body twitches as a warning sign to catastrophic events. That can be doubly misconstrued as “That is how faith works” (Christian values) or “Do whatever FEELS right” (Post-modernist societal values).
The moral of the episode was “There are wonderful things in this world you just can’t explain, but that doesn’t necessarily make them any less true. It just means that you have to choose to believe in them.”
I’m glad to hear that you find the show entertaining (even though Feeling Pinkie Keen is a pretty weak episode compared to some others)!
