More of a back of the throat gurgling “h” sound… ch as in “loch” (Scottish lake) or “Bach” (composer). Is the ch in “echad” pronounced ad “ch” or “k”?

This made me go back and re-read the original post:Your post was fine until the last part about Christian persecution of Jews throughout the years.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with this. There is a resurgence of anti-Semitism, which is indeed a tragedy. Throughout history, Jews have been persecuted by Christians (and others). Are we supposed to pretend that this didn’t happen?I consider a great tragedy the rising anti-Semitism of our times and lament the persecution of Jews throughout history by Christians and others.
Do you mean in the decades immediately following the death of Jesus? I am not aware of any widespread persecution of Christians by Jews since then. Well, I guess at a stretch you could talk about Palestinian Christians, but that’s a conflict between Israelis and Palestinians; it doesn’t have an anti-Christian aspect. The Jews persecuted the Christians also.

Sorry, but in my opinion you are buying into propaganda if you believe this is the case. I don’t want to continue this topic further though, at risk of hijacking the thread.Jews have been persecuted by Christians (and others). Are we supposed to pretend that this didn’t happen?
This is crazy… count the amount of Jews in the world and the number of Christians. Then count the number of hate crimes against each… the rate is insanely higher for Jews.Yes it’s out there, but Jews are not the most persecuted group in the world,
It is true and I am not attempting to gain anything, I am simply correcting a false statement you made.No clue what you are attempting to gain by firmly claiming Christians are more persecuted than Jews. It’s statistically and historically not true. Even if it were though, what are you gaining by defending this?
