Unless there is a second version of evolution, I thought evolution stated it went from bacteria to fish to crocodiles to gorillas to some bizarre type human to a proper human?
Completely wrong. But don’t worry; few people have a better than Primary School understanding of evolution, just as few people have a better than Primary School understanding of Genesis. I was hoping some of the Creationists here would respond to the OP and explain something about what it means, but nobody seems willing to. I know most of them haven’t any better clue than they have about evolution, but I thought there might be one or two who would try to explain its significance. Maybe you’re the one I’ve been looking for! Can you explain why God didn’t create the sun until after fruit-trees?

Firstly I will never believe that we evolved from animals, secondly the dinosaurs look more like sea serpents although the T-rex just looks bizarre unless you get up close to a moving one (a great model of one in the Science Museum in London) and it looks more like the devil than anything else.

Why not? Just for the lulz? The scientific community didn’t make this stuff up from whole cloth.

But animals have distinctly different souls than humans do. That’s evident when reading St. Thomas Aquinas.

God also gave humans dominion over all other creatures.

@semper_catholicus And?

I don’t understand. I’m sorry, but I don’t see how this contradicts anything I’ve said.

So these “animals” that we humans supposedly evolved from were humans? Yes or no?

That’s OK. Tell us about Creation!

Never mind telling us how little you know about dinosaurs. Tell us about Creation!
and it looks more like the devil than anything else.
Your knowledge of what the devil looks like is impressive. Have you seen him?

Read Genesis 1 to begin with.
There are two different creation accounts in Genesis, and they contradict each other somewhat. Which one are we supposed to read?
