So dinosaurs lived when, exactly?

Our Earth does not seem to be so-designed to allow for reproducing species to never die. In fact, it would seem biological processes depend very much on the processes of decomposition and death. Many animals and other organisms’ very survival depends on other dead organisms.
Let’s start here. Adam and Eve were created in Paradise. What lived in paradise with them?

I honestly have no idea why there is any argument. The Church is clear that it’s okay for Catholics to believe that man has evolved. Proof has been given. Some posters are arguing for the sake of arguing.
No. Absolutely not. Proof has not been given. There is no empirical proof.

Where did Eve come from?

We are animals. We share 99% of our DNA with the great apes.

We have a supernatural component to us but that is not within the purview of science to say. Science can only describe natural processes.

We are created beings and part of a creation that God called good.

Come to think of it, the idea that we are rational animals with an immortal soul makes the concept of the Incarnation even more profound.

Has anyone said that though or is that the view you are attributing to us?

If paradise was a real physical location, then it did not encompass all of creation.

Again, because we know animals and organisms endured decay, disease, and death prior to the human species.

What is this ten characters?

Care to explain?

Very well stated. I am not a Young Earther (Yec). I do have fundamentalist friends that are. I have a very antiletical (I think that is the correct term) mind. I just can’t wrap my mind around the Young Earth when scientific evidence shows otherwise. That being said I do respect what Young Earthers believe. 😊

I am sorry to hear you have been ridiculed for your posirion/belief of young/old earth. I don’t subscribe to the Young Earth but respect your belief about it😊

No. It just means I know better than you do about this particular topic.
I hope you didn’t waste too much of your education studying how life on earth supposedly evolved from microbes - biology is about facts, not useless and irrelevant tales about ancient history. Darwin’s ā€œtree of lifeā€ hypothesis has been doing the rounds for more than 150 years and has become a quasi-religious belief system for many millions of people, but it has contributed absolutely nothing to applied science
How old are you? Referring to all scientists as God-haters is quite juvenile.
If you can point out where I said all scientists are God-haters, I will give you $1.35

Parable. Allegory. Poetic storytelling in the absence of scientific technology and investigative techniques.
Let me guess … you’re one of those scientifically-enlightened Catholics who is too intellectually sophisticated and evolved to believe in miracles …

The reality that something like this is even being discussed in a serious manner, is testament that anything can be portrayed as fact on the Internet.

Contact me when there is just one peer-reviewed publication of such a possibility. If God indeed exists, he would be shockingly disappointed in his creation’s critical thinking skills.

I’ve never heard of any Christian who interprets all of the Bible literally.

Is that all? Not much point in me searching…lol

Why not say a million?
