Welcome Back Guyz With New Thread For You All
Do you believe on Jin and Jinni Or Didn’t. Anyone experiences and feel their presents. I am not talking about Satan and Devil.
When I lived in Saudi Arabia, we got a djinn in our house. Our vacuum cleaner used to quit working in one room of the house. My dad would take it apart, find nothing wrong with it, put it back together and voilà, it would work again. It didn’t matter which room you started with, it would always stop working in this one room. Our houseboy, who was Saudi and studying to be a mullah, told us that a djinn was responsible, that it was living in that room and it didn’t like the noise of the vacuum cleaner. He said his sister knew what to do about it and with my father’s approval, he had his sister get together the things needed to get rid of it.
There were seven grains of rice, seven of this and seven of that, a few others things I don’t remember and a fresh unfertilised egg. I, as the only unmarried female in the household, was required to dig a hole about 18 inches deep outside the back door and bury this stuff.
The djinn was banished and the activity stopped - or at least the original activity. It didn’t banish it altogether, it just moved to the bathroom and would throw the toilet seat down if it was left up. It wouldn’t just over-balance and fall, it would slam down, with no one in the house anywhere near the bathroom. The toilet seat did not do this before. It could be left up and it would stay there until someone moved it. Mom said it must be a female djinn and never did anything further to get rid of it cause she liked having the seat always down. Visitors wouldn’t know and would leave it up. They’d be sitting in the living room chatting and the sound would startle them. Mom would say, “That’s just our djinn. She doesn’t like the seat left up.”, perfectly dead-pan, straight-faced and matter-of-fact.
This was my introduction to the occult. Djinns are spirits, the type we are to have nothing to do with. I started things off by participating in a spell to get rid of one and then, at boarding school, I went further, learning how to read palms and cards to tell fortunes, holding séances and using ouija boards, trying to find out the future.
This was a
very big mistake. Never, never, never do this. Do not try to contact djinn, or spirits or anything like that. You will not like what you get. Do not try to get rid of them with spells. That only mires you deeper. Casting spells is participating in evil. Evil cannot cast out evil. It only makes you think you’ve succeeded but all that has happened is that you have chosen to do evil so the oppressor is happy and leaves you alone for a while. Don’t be fooled. He will always be back.
Tomshaikh, be warned about djinns. Islam may teach that there are some good djinns, whatever kind of spirits they are, but I don’t believe this at all. They are all evil and the so-called good ones are only masquerading to lead you astray. Our djinn did nothing but move the toilet seat. It was ‘good’, but the very fact of its existence got me interested in what it was and what else ‘lived’ in the spirit realm. That led me deeper and deeper until I called up a demon with my ouija board. Believe me, you don’t want to do that. Even though it has been 38 years since it happened and 28 years since I became Christian, it still comes round every so often to test me. This is a door that is very difficult to close, once opened.
Personally, I think that what we experienced with the vacuum cleaner falls into the category of poltergeist but we were told by a practicing Muslim that it was a djinn. It was the dining room it was infesting, which according to legend, means that it was feeding on the food in the dining room, the crumbs that fall from the table, the bowl of fruit in the center. Legend says they also infest rubbish tips and sewers, feeding on the refuse, so the toilet fits in with the legend, too. I think all that stuff about djinns in the Qu’ran is just a rehash of popular beliefs about the spirit world that existed in Arabia at the time of Mohammed. I don’t think we know much about what they really are. We’ll find out after we die.
When I lived in Iran, I witnessed a strange weather phenomenon. They would get whirlwinds that would hold their cohesion and stability for a long time. On an otherwise clear day, they would start on the ground and pick up lots of dirt, then rise up to about 1,000 -2,000 feet in the air, a dust-devil transversing the sky. I can see how they decided that these were djinn.
Someone early on gave some good advice - Have nothing whatsoever to do with these things. Even discussing them can cause people problems. I’m just discussing this to warn people. They are the gate to hell and they will suck you in, especially if you think any of them are ‘good’.
Keep your mind and heart on things of God.
