It’s really been bothering me for quite sometime. I even talked to my dad about it because it was really getting to where it bothered me a lot, and I felt like I really had to talk about it. He told me that I should count it as my own little piece of martyrdom. That did make me feel a little better, especially thinking about people like St. Stephen (my patron saint) who died for Christ. That really put it in perspective for me. I guess I shouldn’t get so down when there are people who have died for Christ. I can count this struggle as my own cross. I just hope I don’t have to bear it forever (I want to find someone someday).Wyatt…
I think you should thank the Lord that you were not already a dater at 15… its way too young!
Anyway… I understand you. I have never had a healthy relationship… I am 26… and my twinsister actually got married over a year ago… Now that also made me suddenly feel like the totally odd one out in the family… I imagine the whole family looking at me as the spinster who will never get married… and all my friends are getting married while I cant seem to just find that one miracle of a man and get married…
I dont wanna be lonely… I dont wanna long for a husband… but heck yes… sometimes I do and it makes me feel really lousy.
