Gosh, I JUST came across this thread, too bad it wasn’t 10 days ago!!

But like many of you have said, its never too late! So I’m on board with you guys. I’ve been smoking since I was 14 years old (I’m 30 now, will be 31 in April) this will be the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Of course I’m physically addicted but mentally is where my problem will be of course. I’m so used to smoking when I drive, while I’m at the comp (smoking right now), while I get ready for work, etc. After Mass right when I get in my car I light up and I know everyone sees me, no big deal though.
Anyway, yes, I’m going to try and quit starting when I wake up. I’ve read all the posts on this thread, I’m thinking the straw thing might really work, I definitely need to keep my hands busy! I beg of all of you to please pray for me, I will need it immensely!!
What I’m thinking? If I quit I may actually live to see 70 years old, I’ll save a ton of money, I won’t stink, I’ll be able to smell better, I’ll be able to taste better and most importantly I’ll be able to finally breathe!!!
You’re all in my prayers!
