[Actually, one of the most famous icons of all time, [COLOR=“Blue”]Rublev’s Trinity, painted around 1400, depicts the Trinity as 3 human forms. And there are other completely orthodox artworks that do the same. ]

Actually that is quite debateable. if you look closely these are three winged figures (angels) who appeared to Abraham. His tree is depicted in the background. Since the icon was kept in the Holy Trinity monastry it became known as the Trinity Icon. The icon is symbolic but I very much doubt that Rublev was trying to depict the Trinity - rather angelic adoration of the Real Presence in the Sacred Host.

After some consideration of it, I would have to say that this picture is representing three persons and three Gods, which I am sure is heretical.

The JW’s have used a similar image to prove to me that we believe in multiple Gods. I don’t like it at all.

Um, it’s kinda tacky, and doesn’t have a great composition and balance…to the artist in me, that’s definatrely “wrong” 😉

I personally find the picture disturbing…I’m not sure why. I don’t like the triangles and all seeing eye. I know it’s not all masonic, but I’ve done lots of research on that stuff and since it’s modern day meaning is evil I don’t like to see it depicted on Christian art
