Martin Luther King said Socialism is for the rich.
Rugged individualism is for the poor.
She just voted on these relief packages. Trillions of dollars.
I see breadlines forming still. One woman had to borrow 2 dollars to buy gas to get to the breadline. She still ran out of gas so she was compelled to walk and wait on a line we all recognise to be terribly unsafe.
Then I heard a news story about how only small business has the mandate to continue paying payroll if they want loans forgiven.
Some small business factor week in and out. They opperate without a genuine banking arrangement. They can’t get the loans readily. They are going under.
Then there is the large companies. The guys who were told by Trump at MaraLago how rich he just made them when his tax cut passed. They are not constrained to maintain payroll. Once again they are free to do buy backs with government money. To supplement so their lifestyles are not hampered to much in a market dramatically smaller. MARKET FORCES SEEM TO MATTER LESS FOR THEM EVERY BAILOUT I WITNESS. In fairness right now their biggest problem is no place to have fun spending it.
There are no directives that they keep their LARGEST OF PAYROLLS intact.
Trillions are coming and Trump literally just fired the IG charged with seeing to it that handouts are not random and obscene. My formerly fiscally Conservative Republican friends cheered the firing. HAS THE WORLD GONE INSANE?
I think we live under an illusion that if the socialism is a bunch of bananas, and some soup, it is dreaded welfare. ( Certainly Charity)
If it is a substantial down payment on a second jet, something else. (Certainly ENTITLEMENT)
Anyway AOC just lived through that plan as a freshman. Frankly I wonder where she finds constraint.
That description of the relief package tracks Kings words perfectly. Rugged at the bottom. Rugged and hardship as you move from smallest business, to small, then large. Socialism increases as you travel upwards.
