We’re on a Catholic forum. I know the mods and the general population of posters here (largely sympathetic towards racism, if not outright racist themselves) don’t seem to care. But the catechism does.

Really? You have enough evidence to call the moderators and general population of CAF sympathetic towards racism without worrying that it is rash judgement?
CCC #2477:

Respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury. He becomes guilty:

• of rash judgment who, even tacitly, assumes as true, without sufficient foundation, the moral fault of a neighbor;
• of detraction who, without objectively valid reason, discloses another’s faults and failings to persons who did not know them;
• of calumny who, by remarks contrary to the truth, harms the reputation of others and gives occasion for false judgments concerning them.

I’m sorry, but you are painting with a ridiculously wide brush. We are all sinners here, but I wouldn’t think the majority of moderators or posters on CAF are “largely sympathetic toward racism,” even if I were 100% sure what that meant. Perhaps you didn’t realize that is how your statement would come across? Maybe you could clarify what you meant.
