It is good to hear that Archbishop Naumann was elected and not Cardinal Cupich. That could have been a disaster for the USCCB’s pro-life outreach and activities.

I personally don’t think Cardinal Cupich would have been a disastrous choice, as I am one who appreciates his point of view, but I do understand that many disagree. Anyway, I trust that the bishops have made the right decision, and I pray for Archbishop Naumann with this added responsibility.

Thank God almighty that Archbishop Naumann was chosen!!!

Lets hope that we continue to leaders like Archbishop Naumann chosen. It’s concerning the Cardinal Cupich was even an option and that he got so many votes.

Thank God! This is somewhat like President Trump’s surprise pro life win over Clinton. First time in a long time the Bishops have not elected a Cardinal.
