Wonderful news, no doubt due to intercession by Pope Francis in getting the Romero file re-activated. It is unfortunate that others, such as the people of Latin America and the Anglican Church, were so far ahead of Rome for so long. Hopefully, Romero’s beatification will happen quickly and the world will be reminded of the great deeds and ultimate sacrifice made by this amazing man, a martyr for Christ and for the “least” of our brothers and sisters.
