I find this statement sadly true and believable …

" … how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it …"

My last post about Archbishop Vigano got “edited,” so I think I will just shake my head in silence and pray.

The only thing I’ll say is I agree with most of what Archbishop Vigano wrote in his letter

Prayers for Archbishop Vigano.

He doesn’t seem to be doing well.

The full text is read here. No doubt in part a reaction to the Washington DC archbishop’s criticism of President Trump for accepting an invitation from the Knights of Columbus to visit a Catholic shrine earlier in the week.

I will not respond to activists posting in bad faith.

Well, lets give it a try.

Start with the basis for all social justice: We are all made in the image and likeness of God, and all life is precious and to be protected from its conception to its natural end. We tend to get into trouble when we let our politics gloss over aspects of this. Its impossible to have true justice when one group dehumanizes another, be it racism, slavery, abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, pornography, etc.

We also tend to get into trouble when we call out one area of injustice and give the appearance of glossing over another, whether intended or not. Like if a bishop for example calls out a political leader visiting a church for a photo op, but stays silent on extremely a pro-abortion rights politician who speak sat a Catholic Church.

I am thankful you and zem posted that. I became educated. 👍

@silentwitness
The thing with this letter / statement or any other from anyone else on how far their ‘right to life’ extends is that with the President, it is a is pro choice, not pro life, stance. His ‘right to life’ doesnt extend to innocent victims of rape or incest.

It is misleading to call it courageous.
