This could go multiple places, but I think I will post it here:
Archimandrite Sees Need for Catholic-Orthodox Unity
Dionysios Mantalos Visiting Rome
VATICAN CITY, FEB. 27, 2006 (Zenit.org).- Orthodox and Catholics must find what unites and brings us ever closer, says an official of the Apostoliki Diakonia of Athens, a theological college.
Archimandrite Dionysios Mantalos, director of departments of the Orthodox college who is visiting the Catholic Church in Rome, was received in audience today by the Pope.

Well, the Orthodox are already pretty close, contrasted to Protestants who are pretty far off. I would love to see re-unification in my lifetime, they just need to be a part of the See of Peter. Doctrinally, that’s just about all that separates the two.

Well, not exactly. But once the Primacy of Peter is recognized everything else should fall into place. How wonderful it would be to welcome our separated brothers back into the fold!

How true its a divorce of a 1000 years after a marriage that lasted a 1000 years.
