lol, how can someone be so arrogant about their non provable beliefs.Almost: Atheists are the only people who accept the death of reality.
So I have no connection with God now and when I die I will be punished by continuing to have no connection with Him. And Iām supposed to be worried about thisā¦INo, it (hell) is much worse- eternal separation from God or from anyone else.
Yes.So I have no connection with God now and when I die I will be punished by continuing to have no connection with Him. And Iām supposed to be worried about thisā¦
Wouldnāt everyone else that didnāt believe in God or did bad be there too? Doesnāt really sound all that bad to me.Yes.
By this statement you acknowledge the existence of God.So I have no connection with God now and when I die I will be punished by continuing to have no connection with Him. And Iām supposed to be worried about thisā¦
He was obviously just talking about your scenario, not his personal beliefs.By this statement you acknowledge the existence of God.
And p.s., thank you for capitalizing the name, God. This shows courtesy and respect for the majority of those on these forums and I do recognize and appreciate it, Bradski.
Likewise!lol, how can someone be so arrogant about their non provable beliefs.
He was obviously just talking about your scenario, not his personal beliefs.
Not to derail the thread or anything have any of yāall heard of Fr Robert spitzer? Or the magis institute? And the two hour open forum of catholic answers live for atheists?Likewise!![]()
Oh itās always open season here on some atheists- those who are disrespectful and mocking, comparing belief in God with belief in the Easter bunny and all of their other tiresome, smarmy a la Bill Maher blathering, those who are clearly here for no positive or constructive purpose whatsoever, who feign genuine interest in knowing why Catholics believe but who obviously have another agenda, those whoā¦oh, wait, you said open āforum,ā not open season? Sorry, my bad!Not to derail the thread or anything have any of yāall heard of Fr Robert spitzer? Or the magis institute? And the two hour open forum of catholic answers live for atheists?
Shalom
God bless yāall on youre journey
An existence in hell is full of hate with no escape. Now who here would really stand up and embrace that? Get realā¦Wouldnāt everyone else that didnāt believe in God or did bad be there too? Doesnāt really sound all that bad to me.
But I thought you said hell was just solitary confinement? Where does the hate come in?An existence in hell is full of hate with no escape. Now who here would really stand up and embrace that? Get realā¦
Itās not just non-believers, but believing non-catholics.Itās interesting how the unbelievers misunderstand the Catholic beliefs about Hell. It is not devils with pitchforks. No, it is much worse- eternal separation from God or from anyone elseā¦
Quote a few catholic believers also seem to have different ideas about hell as evidenced by this forum as well as history.Itās not just non-believers, but believing non-catholics.
God is complete love. Without God no love = hatred. But I thought you said hell was just solitary confinement? Where does the hate come in?
Your claim that near death the soul is not in intimate contact with God? Source?I donāt believe that we as consciousness beings would have another life after we die, our energy can be transported to other bodies and it can serves other beings, life is rolling around, but we as a whole beings with a specific identity we cease to exist, just like any other creature.
Iām not afraid of after life, including Heaven and Hell belief, I think itās completely non sense, unscientific, illogical, unethical and historically a hoax.
People, most of the times, their reason becomes weak on their death bed, because of their sickness, fear and medicines, they seek for a greater force so they can psychologically feel better, and not because theyāre convinced of āgodā.
