Are Catholic Posters Charitable

I think it depends on the poster and the mood of the poster. Some days I am very charitable and others I can be down right rude. I am trying to improve but have my failings, especially when dealing with our Muslim brothers who try to bate us. I have been rightfully admonished by the Mods, so I am a little more careful about what and how I say things. I did not vote because there was not a ‘Varies’ catagory.

Man, you put a heavy burden on me expecting me to be a roll model. I will try to live up to your expectations but when I fall don’t kick me when I am down, just help me up. Thanks for the compliment.
 
Sorry man 😦 , i forgot that the devil sometimes sets people up for the fall. 😦 I hope thats not what i have done. 😦 I most certainly will not kick you when you fall. But i will correct you, however see this as a gesture of love and not me trying to have power over you.
Feel free to correct me and embarass me with corection, i love it, especailly when it burns my heart, it gets all the evil spirits out.! 🙂 Your cool! :cool:
 
I am always a nice guy! I am so charitable I say exactly what I feel some people need to hear. They love me for it, lol.

Sometimes they are.

But I find myself choosing my words very carefully to make sure I don’t offend, only to end up having the intention of my post misunderstood by someone anyways. We just speak differently.
 
I can’t compare this to any other forum because I don’t frequent other forums. I think this place is monitored so people don’t get too far off track. Certain threads, like the secular news ones are a little more volitile. However, with only a few exceptions I think most people are charitable. Let’s face it, when discussions get going about religion and politics, there is bound to be some disagreement.
 
There are some who are more charitable than others, but I would agree that lately it seems like there’s been a slide in the charity level. For the most part though, I don’t have too many complaints. I think that reading an Internet board makes it difficult as well, because we’re reading it and not hearing the words spoken. Some things can be taken in completely different ways depending on how they’re said.
 
I can’t speak for the others, but most of the time I have been charitable. Of course, I do admit as well that I have moments wherein I let go and just write my head off, which does happen when you see the same things over and over even after much discussion.
