Are Eastern Catholics to look to the Eastern Orthodox for patristic guidance?

Sophistry. I said nothing of the sort. I said that Rome wants them to return to their Eastern Traditions. That does not necessarily mean to do what the modern Eastern Orthodox Church does because the EOs have changed and developed over time.
