Does anyone think they may be part of the many or part of the few and why?
The fact is that anyone can be a part of the few and the way how is readily explained in scripture.
Matt13: 23Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Matt.20:22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The obvious question we need to ask after reading these verses is do we know the Lord or are we known of Him.
!Jn.2:3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1Jn3:24And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1Jn4:7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jn5:2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
We can know that we are the few if we love God and keep His commandments and love each other.
