Are monks necessary?

Is there anything really wrong or questionable about not choosing or being able to live out in the world? Is it running away to know your limitations and to give them to God too? I have severe limtitations and use them to give all I have and am to Jesus. The world has always counted me useless and a failure but they are wrong… stereotyping is of the world
