Really? Prove It. I am still at odds with the Catholic Church and their apparent control of the masses. I find odds with many things, such as 99% of the “Laws”, based on what? Not the Bible my friend, but mans laws as interpreted by documents they can’t or will not show. From what I’ve seen it’s based on fear and intimidation. and there is absolutely NO proof that Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church! NONE. Did he start a Christian movement? Yes, the Catholic Church - NO. There is nothing in the Bible - any Bible that dictates the laws of marriage, to the extent that the only recognized marriages are those within the confines of the Catholic Church or its laws. Documents created by the Catholic Church do not qualify, prove it by the Bible itself. The Word is the Law not created by men who deem themselves able to create their own. Just as the Celibacy of Priests, NOT IN THE BIBLE. Created to prevent Catholic Property from being willed to Heirs of Bishops and priests. Look into it Prove to me that Pope Gregory did not change this for that very reason. Why do you think England kicked out the Catholics? Thus the even more corrupt King James Bible.
Is he really married to his wife? Did he commit himself to his wife? Does he hold true to those vows? Does he and his wife believe they are married? Are they forsaking all others, do they love, honor, cherish, and support each other? That’s what God Sees, not some list of ridiculous documents and rules set forth by “men”. Is it in their hearts, souls and the way they live their lives? If so then Yes they are married. Its a bond between the man, the woman, and God, Not the Catholic Church!
Just for the record, I miss the Church, I found much comfort there in my younger days, but as I grew older and wiser, I began to question. Questions such as the ones I posed were not welcome by the Catholic Church. Believe and Submit was all I got from it. So that is why I am the way I am. I experienced many faiths since then and all I can say is there is no correct one. I have read many bibles and studied them to get the most from them. Most religions are very “cult like” Catholics and Jehovah Witnesses are among the worst. They are driven by fear, intimidation, and control.
