Note that I said “categories” of religions. See the diagram.
Oddly enough, he doesn’t seem to have an answer. What traditions might those be, drac?
I see. Its okay for you to mock us but you don’t want the same thing dished out to you!! Pretty cowardly! No, it’s not relevant. You will just mock my denomination if I were to tell you.
I wasn’t discussing religious categories. Your right it is a different discussion but thats precisely why you can’t lump all of Christianity together and call it one religion. If you can do that then why be Catholic? If it’s all one big religion then great no need for any other Christians to become Catholic. I’m sorry but no your comment just isn’t true.4000 different world religions?? If we look at the Atlas of faith in the Encyclopedia Britannica, there are only 4 categories of major religions:
Christian 33%
Islam 19.8%
Hindu 13.3%
Buddhists 5.9%
The rest are either miscellaneous indigenous beliefs, or agnostic/atheist. Judaism is too small to be included as a major category. So there are 4 major categories, with those considering themselves Christian covering a far greater percentage than the other 3. The other 3 are condemned by our Lord Himself in the quotes in the OP. That leaves Christianity as the only viable option. As for which is true among Christians is a completely different discussion.
Hinduism and Buddhism are both older than Christianity, but how Jesus could have condemned Islam specifically in SS 700 years in advance sounds pretty funny.Christian 33%

Buddhists 5.9%

He used his Tardis, of course!how Jesus could have condemned Islam specifically in SS 700 years in advance sounds pretty funny.
Tradition with Bible, not in lieu of.It’s self explanatory. They use traditions over the Bible.
There are still more than four categories of religion.Note that I said “categories” of religions. See the diagram.
I haven’t forgotten anything. You are forgetting something. Muslims do not worship the same God as Catholics. Catholics believe God consists of the Blessed Trinity. From the Baltimore catechism:
21. Q. Is there but one God?
_A. Yes; there is but one God. _
23. Q. How many Persons are there in God?
A. In God there are three Divine Persons, really distinct, and equal in all things-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
27. Q. What is the Blessed Trinity?
A. The Blessed Trinity is one God in three Divine Persons.
29. Q. Are the three Divine Persons one and the same God?
A. The three Divine Persons are one and the same God, having one and the same Divine nature.
Muslims do not believe in the Blessed Trinity.
Yes, very odd.lilypadrees:![]()

I don’t know where you pulled that out of, but the Church has never, ever, in its whole history, taught anything else than that Muslims, Christians and Jews all worship the same God.Muslims do not worship the same God as Catholics.
