That was just the Caesars though. Common people back then simply did not have the same opportunities for sin that we have now, this is another reason our culture has so many problems.
why should they think about other ways to express their love? Just because their “child-bearing years” are over?Their child-bearing years are over, so they should think about other ways to express love as a couple.
Because sex is for creating life.why should they think about other ways to express their love? Just because their “child-bearing years” are over?
There are better forms of love than passionate love (sex). Sex is not that great!why should they think about other ways to express their love? Just because their “child-bearing years” are over?
oO…I don’t mean to assume…but are you married? There are better forms of love than passionate love (sex). Sex is not that great!
So a Catholic couple following the Church’s teachings on marriage, sex and life has four children, but the thousands of other times in their lifetimes together they did come together but did not create life, were therefore wasted and meaningless.Because sex is for creating life.
No.oO…I don’t mean to assume…but are you married?
Yes. Of course, in the 14th century it was not available to every 13 year old on the Internet.I think people have always been very sexual. The only difference is that we are more open about it now.
Look at a book like “The Decameron” that was written in the 14th century. It is extremely sexual and from long, long ago.
I agree with you. I’m simply stating that people have always been very sexual and that it is simply more visible now. I’m not advocating teenagers looking at sexual material online.Yes. Of course, in the 14th century it was not available to every 13 year old on the Internet.
I’m talking about if the guy lost his sexual prowess and the woman feels fine about it. I don’t think people need drugs to artificially arouse them. There’s other things they can do to show affection and partnership. So a Catholic couple following the Church’s teachings on marriage, sex and life has four children, but the thousands of other times in their lifetimes together they did come together but did not create life, were therefore wasted and meaningless.
The Church’s core teachings on sexuality is that it must be open to the possibility and creation of life, not that it must create life each and every time. We are to cooperate with God as much as it is within our power to be open to the possibility of life with our spouse. I think you’d be hard pressed to show any sort of document that’s meant to exclude sex as a part of marital life after a certain age.
