Is it that one that says that ALL candles attract demons, regardless of what they are made of? Not linking it!

There used to be (maybe still is) a company that put expensive rings into their candles. You would buy the candle for $25 and as you burned it, it would scent the room, and you would wait till you found the ring.

My daughter won a very expensive diamond ring from one of these candles, so she quit playing the game. She gave me some of the rings. I don’t know if that is still happening or not.

Woah. Places a metal detector would come in handy would include that candle shop.

He didn’t told me he told my friend she is also catholic and she’s not a liar either i do believe he said scented candles where bad but I don’t think he meant they where a sin or anything maybe she picked him up wrong

Yeah, I’ve been burning my 3DOD candles (someone gave me 2 cases).

I also ate my Y2K tuna way before New Year’s.

I do know they’re not a sin I told her I was a member on the forum and she asked me to ask on here

Maybe she should Join?

We must be very sceptical of people claiming to be Priests online.

She can’t read nor write the only thing she can use is messenger and WhatsApp because you can send voice messages

Adaptations for those with vision impairments are available on most devices now. Perhaps you can go over and help her set up her computer to do voice recognition.

A group like CA Forums or Ave Maria Forums screens well those who claim to be priests. “What’sApp” does not.

Whoah…just saw this thread. OP, please disregard everything that everyone on here has told you about scented candles not being a sin!!! Yes, in fact they are very, very much sinful. And everyone who makes, and or uses them has one foot in Hades, and the other on a banana peel!!!

Nahhh…just kidding! 😉

My sister got me one when I performed in A Midsummer Nights Dream 😊

I will say, growing up my parents were mega paranoid about new age and the baby was often thrown out with the proverbial bathwater. Innocuous things were often lumped in with actual new age things. I suspect that has happened here also.

Lighting a scented candle now. In the bathroom. Dont ask.
