Are scented candles a sin?

I’ve said many times that Windows XP is the work of the Devil, but I didn’t mean it literally.

My husband would say the same about scented candles. It just means he likes candles but detests all of the scented ones and perfumes generally.

There are some fragrances that can cause problems with folks with allergies. Some are very sensitive to smells. My sister is one. This does not make scented candles sinful.
This can also apply to perfumes, air fresheners, almost anything with a scent. Use what you like and what smells good to you. If others are around, use scentless candles and yes - be very careful with the flame.
 
Scented candles aren’t sinful. I hope someday to find incense-scented candles.

I have never seen “used a scented candle” on any examination of conscience list.
 
Incense is used during these seasons. The scent does linger and it is lovely.
 
It had a whole bunch of diamonds in the front. I don’t know the carat weight, but she hit the jackpot that day. I know the rings they were giving away were priced from the $10.00 range all the way up to $5,000. There was only one $5,000 ring in the collection.

Of course at $25 a pop for a candle, many people wouldn’t buy them. They were the thicker candles like in church, but had glimmer on some of them.

If they’re selling candles that contains spirits, I want a nice single malt. Do they have a little tap to extract the sprits into your cup? I sure wouldn’t want wax actually mixing . . .
