Are there any Catholic theologions that fully understand the last book of the bible ?

If you find it Boring why do you post? you seem to be a very critical of work your not even involved in. Whats the problem? we are not studing bible code in the same sense as those who believe they can see future events or tell if somebody is about to be assinated. We are trying to see if the numerical data in revelations, adds up to anything important or intresting, otherwise, if i dont i will leave it alone. plus its an opertunity to studie revelations with somebody, and see someone eles prespective.

Why did you post? if you find something is boring, dont post. However if we are talking about somthing offensive or heritical then say. But the discussion has barley started, so i dont see how you can have a problem with it, since you dont know what its about yet.

Yes im here, brother. But i cannot speak wright at this moment. I have to do some college course work, its very important, because i have left it to the last minute( This is one of my bad habits i need to overcome). But i will be here later on hopefully, so try and stay around.

I have been reading gematria. And it looks very intresting, but there is one thing that bothers me. Am i aloud as a Catholic to read this sort of stuff, is it aloud by the church? I dont want to do anything that offends God. It looks, to be quite honest, a bit dangerous, because im unfamilia with the concept. In other words, nither the church or the early church fathers spoke of this gematria. Are you sure that this is Good :confused:

Jesus was a jew, The early Christians where jews, if not predominantly. It would make sense that they would keep this system of numerical science. Unless they kept it a secret, why is it not talked about? Im not refuting it, but i dont know if im allowed, your gonna haf to give me a couple of days to read in to it more thoroughly so i can get to grips with what your trying to explain. Its still not clear to me what your trying to express.

But i agree that John may have used a numerical system to keep things secret from the oppresors of his time. It would make sense that he would keep certain information under a veil so that the enermy could not understand. But those select few, who are trained in the crafts of Johns numerical system would understand.

It would be hard for people to believe this, but i see it as a strong possibility.
