Are there any Catholic theologions that fully understand the last book of the bible ?

The Chapters and verses were not put into the bible for 1200 years or so.
But I do find that very interesting that it came out that way.

And who knows, maybe God did have a hand in the dividing the Bible into Chapter and verses.

You mentioned Kings It reminds me of a Dream I had some forty years or so ago.
That bothered me, for a longest time.
I got out of bed, there was a clatter in the front of our new home we had just built .There were windows right to the peak of the house,a little gray bird was caught in the sharp Peek at the top of the roof.I got up to that area and there was a another bird, but much larger,and purest of white,it had it’s wings wrapped around the little bird,protecting it.
I was wondering why this was happening.I ran out side in my shorts, to get a closer look,and try to see what was bothering the two. Well ,When I got outside there was a large black long cloud in front and behind the house from horizon to horizon east to west, to .It was a cigar shaped thing,the cloud bothered the little gray bird and it was in a panic.
I yelled at the top of my lunges,ANGELA look at this, is this something or what ,Well we were in bed and my wife was still asleep,we were both there in shock looking at each other.
Well, that’ not the funny part of the story.About two or three years after,a minister riped a page out of bible,and gave the page to me, and he said that there was some thing on this page ,that will straighten something out and ,that it has been bothering me.
From the start of the dream to the expiation of the dream took over two years.
So I think God can be in control of a few numbers in the bible.I told that dream to a lot of people and this guy never heard of it yet ,and he was right on . P.S STRANGE OR WHAT walt

I think when they came up with multi, media ways of keeping in thought we were in it, and then comptores toped it off .

If we read the history of how Rome covnerted to Christianism we will realize that the martyrs were an important role for its covnertion. People watched the example of the martyrs they feared nothing not even death nor punishment from the pagans. and evertime more and more pagans converted to christianism dispite they could be killed.

This chruch that we have now, is the fruit of the blood of the martyrs. they established it. and they won the struggle with Christ.

please do this, go to a priest and talk and argue with him about ur view of revelations . its dangerous to be having opinions that can easyly be going more far from the churchs point of view.

So keep alwasy near a catholic priest n catholic stuffs n not on your own.

remain under the church.

by the way. revelation has to be read knowing the other books of the OT.

the old covenant was for jew, revelations is the end of the old covenant , remeber deutronomious n all that stuffs making the pact God with israel. well revelations mark the end of the covenant n of the pact that the jews n God had.
 
Revelations is not for the Jew .It is for the Christian.If it was for the Jew, it would have been given to moses. It is a summation of the whole bible.The bible explains Revelations,and revelations confirms the whole bible.Given to Christians.
I baptize you with water (living word) of God, but he who comes after me, baptizes you with the holy spirit (the spirit of the living god)and with fire (the sight of his second coming).
The Jew missed the first coming, but they will see, hear,and feel his next coming.walt.

The statement above is wrong and is the prime reason why Revelations has not been under stood for 2000 years.The book of Revelations is a stand alone book Re.22/18and to add to it ,or take away any thing for it ,is a great sin-----.against Christ.walt

All of the books of the Bible must be understood in their relation to each other. None of the books of the Bible are meant to “stand alone”. The entire Bible, Old and New Testament, is all connected. There are many cross-references to Old Testament passages in Revelation.
 
the fact that revelations is only for christians is true however in some parts it talks about the second destruction of the jewish temple. n the woes that happened to the jews , they were all in deutronomius remember the promises n curses.

Jesus also foretold the second destruction of the temple on the gospel. and it happened 30 years after he acsended to heaven.

the temple was like the image of God in Israel n the image of their pact with God since they didnt accepted Jesus the second destruction of the temple meant the end of the Pact with God n the Jews and all the curses on deutronomious happened 30 years after the ascention of Jesus.
 
The bible was not written as a single book .Revelations , was, and is to be read as one book, by it self, man placed it at the end of bible,that is why the devil turns the word of god in to a whore making a lot of whore lets. Read thunder no. 4 Rev.12-15
read dragon and the water the dragon vomits after the woman with child.polluting the true word .walt

this is truly off base

I dare u to go with a priest and just check if he share your same views about revelations.
 
We catholics must obey the interpretation that the church has n we “shouldnt” read the scriptures alone cause that would lead everyone to a different conclution. so we must be just under the church and under what they think about revelations.
otherwise we have the risk of reading revelations wrongly beliving it is the way we read it.
 
Why do you think we have so many interp. of the bible.
So many types of Christan .Feel good religions.Christians that turn the word to suit them selfs .False prophets ,mystery Babylon the great whore has fallen.The Christians that call the pope the false prophet,given power from the devil. Catholics are demons in there eyes.

I think you are living in a fairy land world, to think that you should leave everything to the other people, the bible wants you to think for your self It wants you to follow Christ not leave it to some one else,obey the interpretation of others I do not think so .Christ wants to touch you personally he wants you to see the light .walt
