I am conservative when it comes to Catholic issues. I am liberal in the sense that I believe we need to help folks who NEED it. BUT I am conservative in believing that we must first have the funds in order to help. We should never run a deficit unless in dire emergency such as war or threat of depression.
I’ve voted in every election, BUT I have not voted for the winning presidential candidate ever (so far). In a few cases, I’ve left the presidental (or senate or governor) ballot blank. In some years, I’ve taken the stance that whoever is in, I’m voting against them. This is probably one of those years. It’s probably been decades since I have actually voted for someone as opposed to voting against someone. For now, there is not one politician in either house or either party that I like. That’s pretty sad.
