One of my dreams is to be able to visit the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. 🙂
I visited the shrine one day last autumn. Even as a non-Catholic I was impressed. It was beautiful. I was there in the middle of the week and it was like a ghost town. I bet it would be a completely different experience, sharing the place with the anticipated funeral crowd.

All the events were beautiful. My family was very blessed to be able to attend.

I live in New Jersey. I drove (16 hours) down to Hanceville in order to pay my respects to Mother Angelica. I attended the public viewing that was held the day before her funeral. It was my first time in Alabama. The shrine is beautiful. The entire experience was wonderful.
