I recently came across a great website for learning Hebrew:
ancient-hebrew.org/
It provides pronunciation and introduces letters, then simple words, then simple phrases. I’ve only done 3 lessons, but I finally feel like I have a shot at learning Hebrew.
My question is, are you glad you spent the time learning Latin, Hebrew or Greek? Was there a particular reason, and did learning the language meet your expectations?
I’m trying to read the Summa (in English), but wonder if I should take the time to learn Latin so I can read it in its original language. I’m just wondering, since I’m having such a difficult time understanding the English translation, would “going Latin” make it easier to understand or even harder?
Finally, what are your favorite learning tools (websites, books, CDs, DVDs)?
