salvation… why do we have to be judged by god

if god is all-loving, all people regardless of there sins should go to heaven

???

God loves everyone… not everyone loves Him. Since heaven is being in the presence of God, why would someone who has rejected Him get to go there. In other words, He will not impose Himself on someone who has already said no to Him.

A friend of mine put it pretty well, I think:

‎2 Cor. 5:17 " So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come."

This is true and beautiful. Unfortunately it works the other way too. When we turn to Christ, He forgets our wrong-doings in His loving forgiveness. When we turn from Him, He forgets our good-heartedness in His steadfast justice. Brothers, stay strong. Our old relationship with Satan counts for nothing, for we have married Christ. But what does our past and present loyalty to this spouse count for if we commit adultery with the Devil?

Stay strong!

God has two hands. One is certainly mercy, but the other is justice. We know the rules, and we violate them at our eternal peril.

Your question is posed by many who wish to redefine GOD into their terms - thus guaranteeing themselves salvation without having to acknowledge that GOD did specify the “way, the truth and light” to live and believe and find GOD.

Yes, HE loves all of us all of the time, but not “…regardless of our sins…” as our sins reflect our choices and choices inform GOD as to whether we love HIM back, as HE loves us. Is Judas in heaven? JESUS told him, it would have been better had he not been born. Is the bad thief who was crucified with JESUS and ridiculed HIM while he was also dieing on the cross, is he in heaven? Is Hitler in heaven along with the 6 million people he had killed in the concentration camps?

JESUS loves us so much, that HE also will forgive our sins, even those of Judas and Hitler had they confessed and sought HIS salvation. So, do not be afraid of living the narrow way that GOD teaches, and embrace the most precious gift of Confession which HE has provided us, and you will see HIM in heaven. Confess your sins, do not live within them regardless and ignoring the Sacrament of Confession.

Those who will not be in heaven would not WANT to be in heaven. The all-consuming love of God would be intolerable to them. So God honors their choice, and grants them existence completely apart from God (for there will be no half measures in the next life - it’s either all God or no God).

What God says when we are judged only reaffirms what we say about ourselves. When people don’t want to be with God and reject him and what he says, they get what they want. You decide your future.

And all people regardless of their sins can go to heaven; Christ died on the Cross so that we could be forgiven, regardless of our sins. The problem is some people don’t care and don’t accept God’s forgiveness he offers to everyone.

God loves Himself above everything, sinds the Truine God is love itself and His infinite love is also an expressing of His Holiness. God wil do everything to keep His standard of His Holiness and love otherwise God would not be God anymore. So everything and everyone who offends God by not worshipping His highest good which is His Holiness and Love, cannot have a communion with the Living God and reject God. God keeps His standard by judging sin and pouring out His wrath as expression of His Own love, Holiness and Glory. And there is the Gospel message coming, namely that God is not compromising but He is judging it through the Cross, which is the only way for guilty sinners, who offend God to receive reconcilation, sinds Christ as the Lamb of God took our wrath upon Himself.

For me, it is all about freedom of choice. God gave us the ability to choose and He does not force us to be good and obey all that is of Him. Our bad choices turns us away from Him and puts us out of His presence. God’s judgement is His affirmation of our desire not to be with Him.

Doesn’t God have the right-the duty even -to hate sin and evil?

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God does want everyone to go to Heaven. Apparently, not everyone goes to Heaven. Not even God gets to have everything.

Perhaps part of our trouble with this question might be that we think of Heaven as something which (if we are sympathetic) we all deserve or which (if we are unsympathetic) only others who are as perfect as ourselves deserve, and so we think of God as the *obstacle *to Heaven, keeping people out.

It might be more useful to think of God as the *vehicle *to Heaven (“I am the way”), getting people in. Since there is nothing about human psychology which suggests that it is capable of coping with immortality, part of the whole process of theosis (sanctification) might be simply about enabling us to be immortal.

Ofcourse, otherwise He would not be God anymore, sinds how can God whom reveal Himself as a Holy and Loving God tolerated sin and evil which offends His own Holy and Loving being ? The reason why we have a difficult with this, is because we have such a low view on who God is, and are lacking a true holy fear, that is also were idolatry started, namely that we are making a god to the image and likeness of men, with men in the centerpiont of his own religeus experience, and that i also why we may have such a difficult understanding with doctrine of hell, sinds it offends our pride.
