They do serve an actual purpose, if it were not for this recent rally, the corrupt media like CNN (as well as members on these forums) would still be carrying on about how racist they think Trump is. We had several threads on this recently in regards to Charlottesville as well as other posters spreading that same garbage.

So first it was Russia, then we had those ‘nothing burgers’ exposed by Project Veritas, then it was Trumps a White Supremacist and Neo Nazi, wonder what it will be next.

I’m glad Trump bypasses the crooked media like CNN like this and speaks directly to the people, he gives updates on what he has done and what he is doing, which is like reporting directly to your shareholders (voters) and he can refute the lies spread about him.

Hopefully as CNN and others like them become more and more ridiculous in their reporting of Trump (which they will, I can’t imagine them saying 'fair call, we got it wrong about Trump), it will break down the monopolies they have had as more and more people wake up to just how biased and manipulative their reporting is and stop watching and look for alternatives.

I’m so relieved that Trump won and I hope people start waking up to the media like CNN.

Trump spent a LOT of the Phoenix speech criticizing CNN. Huge amount of time and effort.

Trump did use a teleprompter, but then he went into his jacket pocket and pulled out a stack of pages which he showed to everyone and then read the actual text of his comments on Charlottesville.

So you are right. In these rallies, Trump reports directly to the people.

And so he should I think, the reporting of those like Anderson Cooper over how they think Trump is the second coming of Hitler was pure nonsense. Designed to do one thing, which is to spur on civil unrest and further attack the President.

They are now trying to say he omitted certain parts, but he didn’t, because he also mentioned how wrong it is for these people to be attacking their history and tearing down statues, which is nothing short of what every fascist has done in history, tear down and rewrite their own history.

They are trying to do similar stuff here in Australia, first by changing Australia Day to a different date, but anyone who supports changing the date, supports it being called ‘invasion day’ and thus wish to remove it altogether. Trying to make the people despise the very Country in which they live and have their freedoms.

Which I think is really good, as he can stay in touch with the people and it’s like a company CEO reporting directly to his/her shareholders (voters).

The “Phoenix Version” omitted the words “on many sides.” Go back and read the transcript.

The thing that made a lot of difference I believe was law enforcement and riot control gear. As soon as one protestor crossed the line he was dealt with quickly and professionally and thus none of the others were going to try it after that.

I did, and the words “on many sides” are conspicuously absent. He omitted those words from his remarks. Do you have a close-captioned screen shot to show he said “on many sides”? His “Phoenix Version” of his prepared remarks omitted those three words.

He mentioned ‘Antifa’ (That’s the other side) and he also talked about how misguided and wrong it was of these people to be tearing down their history (That’s also the other side).

And you know, personally I would have been fine if they moved that statue to a museum, but the way it was brought down, was absolutely disgraceful, and that weak politicians then started taking down other stuff that threatened these peoples sensibilities, while omitting statues like Lenin, is just ridiculous as well as many other double standards.

I’m very relieved Trump won.

Funny you perseverate on words omitted by Trump but have yet to address my posts re the misrepresentation of his comments by some on this forum actually inserting words he never even said.You harp on gossip and lack of charity however I have to assume since you can’t or won’t respond to my question,you must only be concerned with the lack of charity and gossip and untruths that you perceive coming from the right.
