I usually stay out of the political arena, simply because too many have the “don’t confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up” mentality. On all sides. However, as I have mentioned in other contexts, I’m pretty sure there is no phrase in The Lord’s Prayer stating: “Thy kingdom come, My will be done on earth, as Your’s is in heaven.”

It seems as though a segment of the protesters have re-written it that way, though.

And that is a shame.

I leave it to Our Heavenly Father to sort it out. He’s got way more insight into this than I do.

No, what they’re trying to do is protect public safety. The rally’s at a convention center on a one-lane, one-direction road next to the courthouse, the baseball stadium, and a ton of employers. It’s ALREADY potentially dangerous - it’s physically impossible to get that many employees home from work at 5:00pm if it’s literally impossible to get out of a parking garage and you can’t take a bus because they’re all filled to capacity.

And, naturally, the cheapskate-in-chief will expect the entire state’s law enforcement community to foot the bill for security costs.

If people feel the need to protest someone or something they have a right to do it. Some may think that this is some plot by the Democrats to bring down the Republicans but that’s pure fantasy, I’m really don’t think the Democrats could pull that off.

There really are this many people that don’t like Trump. It’s more grass roots than his followers will admit.

If they want to protest, fine, just do it at a big distance from the people who came out to see the President and not a bunch of people causing a ruckus. I’m glad they get thrown out of the rallies when they manage to sneak in. They still get their press coverage either way, but the vast majority of those inside the arenas are not interested in their showing off.

Trump sure does seem to throw a lot of campaign style rallies for someone who is already, you know, President. Does he just like basking in the adulation of his fans or do these love-fests serve some actual purpose?
