Hi, I’ve run into a theological conundrum - at least for me
I’m involved in a 3D environment in which I buy server space, in the guise of an “island” of land, and I subdivide that and rent off the smaller parcels at a premium. Each “island” is named. I run a strictly PG-rated enterprise in a decidedly no-holds barred virtual world, so i do try to set an example, and safe keep it very rigourously. With that, I have a client who has purchased a large enough region to have it named, and the client is requesting the name Amativa. My dilemma is that I am concerned that by using that name I am condoning, and in a sense even endorsing, that philosophy. I haven’t been able to find anything that explicitly says it is against our Faith, but it seems to me that the precepts of it are, hence my post here. I would greatly appreciate an authoritative reply(s).
PS: I had submitted an abbreviated version of this post to the Ask an Apologist forum on October 2nd, but I am obligated to purchase the required server space today (October 6th).
