Everything…without any hesitation…even the stuff I don’t understand.
It’s not that bad, actually.Me too, thank God. I feel so sorry for people that have no one but themselves at the helm of the ship.
I voted everything the Church teaches…but it is my duty to understand everything the Church teaches as well. So I didnt like that part of the answer.

Yup!!!I believe that all Catholics are bound to accept as true all the the Church teaches is true. How bout the rest of you?![]()
I believe everything that the church teaches. I pray for help of my unbelief/lack of understanding.I believe that all Catholics are bound to accept as true all the the Church teaches is true. How bout the rest of you?![]()
Well said… Keep in mind, though, that some Catholics can go above and beyond the teachings of the Church in regards to Mary. But I agree with you in so far as if it is indeed an official teaching of the Church, I need to accept it. Understanding may come later, but trust and acceptance better come sooner.I do too, though I have my difficulties. Marian doctrine is probably my greatest difficulty, and then there are moments when it makes sense (the Revelation Reading today) and make it so clear. I have the struggle with it, but the Church was instituted by Christ, has the guardianship of the Holy Spirit and that guidance, that I trust the Church’s wisdom and teaching.
Let me start with birth control. Do you believe IVF is wrong. How about unfaithfulness in marriage… breakup of family…homosexuality…embryo stem cell research?I put myself as an Other but I probably should have chosen…except for some areas…I have two areas that I disagree with…first, birth control and second, only men can be priests…

When I am having trouble with something I only quote St. Marks 9:24 “I believe, Help my unbelief.”I put myself as an Other but I probably should have chosen…except for some areas…I have two areas that I disagree with…first, birth control and second, only men can be priests
In my own words, this means to:Canon 752 While the assent of faith is not required, a religious submission of intellect and will is to be given to any doctrine which either the Supreme Pontiff or the College of Bishops, exercising their authentic magisterium, declare upon a matter of faith or morals, even though they do not intend to proclaim that doctrine by definitive act. Christ’s faithful are therefore to ensure that they avoid whatever does not accord with that doctrine.
I believe that that’s the policy.I believe that all Catholics are bound to accept as true all the the Church teaches is true. How bout the rest of you?
