Does anyone have any prospective on why we in the United States are shielded from stories such as these by our main stream press?

Is it because those who determine what news we are fed and what news is kept from us have an empathy for the dictatorial regimes such as North Korea? Is this where they would like to see the U.S.? It seemed impossible in the U.S. just a few short years ago, now however, I am not so sure. Those running most of our news outlets certainly seem to have a bias against the Christian religions.

Most mainstream U.S News agencies do not have their priorities straight. Bias is rampant(just look at Fox News). It may have something to do with the industry being monopolized by Rupert Murdoch. But whatever the case may be, undoubtedly, there is a bias against Christianity, as atrocities committed against Christians get disproportional air time to other nonsensical stories like the Quran burning. Here is an example : meforum.org/2872/koran-christian-persecution.
