LMAO. Oh I got tears when I read this. Too funny. I didnt know the word whole meant excluding people or thingsYour comments show just how ludicrous the mormon view of baptism of children and infants really is.
Whole means everyone did everything, including the children, unless it has to do with baptism. Then āwholeā doesnāt mean everyone. :banghead:
I guess the dictionary is only correct in so much as it has been translated correctly.
This also shows how mormons like to makeup/use their own definitions of words.
Unless you dont like the crust!Soā¦if I say I ate a WHOLE sandwich, does that mean I really only ate part of it?
I just had a horrible thoughtā¦Unless you dont like the crust!
Wow. You just blew my mind with thatI just had a horrible thoughtā¦
as an attorney, I always here the judge say ādo you swear to tell the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truthā
I guess, if a Mormon testifies, we can assume the WHOLE truth means only partial truth?
LMAO. Stop it TK, stop it some moreEven worse, I feel sorry for the LDS wife whose husband says āI have been faithful our WHOLE Marriageā¦!ā
Smoking is not a good analogy but if you said that to me and you had middle or high school aged minors, yes I would think you meant them too. And I would be quite appalled at the thought. Whole household means whole all of them, otherwise you are being totally unclear as to which members you are excluding from the whole, you donāt use the word whole unless you mean every part of something. If I were to state that a whole household smoked. And said household included a few minors, would you assume I referenced the minors smoking as well? Would it necessarily mean the minors smoked? My whole household smoked for quite some time. When I state this, I reference only those of us who could legally smoke.
Simply put, āwhole householdā does not necessitate infant baptism.
Totally cold to not regard your children as part of your household.Reason: If I go to a Mormon houseā¦a house where there is a familyā¦and the mother has a babyā¦is the baby not a member of the household? If not, what do you call it for there must be a name for this condition where the baby is not a member of the household.
Lighten up⦠Tornadoes were ripping through my area last night. Sometimes, it is just good to laugh and have fun. Not our fault that āwholeā means āpartā to our LDS friendsYou know, yāall donāt have to be Catholic bullies and be mean and nasty to the Mormons. If you donāt like or agree with the answers you get, canāt you just say, hey, I donāt agree with that.
You are making fun of these people and thatās not fair or right. Sometimes people must just agree to disagree. Just because you donāt like the answer you get doesnāt give you license to mock them.
I have LDS friends whom I love very much, they are good people and I would be horrified if any Catholic I know were to talk to them the way yāall are talking to these people. I thought Christ taught us to love our neighbors and to find Jesus in everyone.
Laughing with someone is one thing. Laughing AT someone is bullying.Lighten up⦠Tornadoes were ripping through my area last night. Sometimes, it is just good to laugh and have fun. Not our fault that āwholeā means āpartā to our LDS friends
I have to agree with texLaughing with someone is one thing. Laughing AT someone is bullying.
Tornadoes in Texas donāt make what yāall did OK. Period.
No need to mock someoneās religious beliefs. Period. Somehow, I just canāt see Christ doing that. If someoneās beliefs were not his, he might sit down with them and talk, but he would not be making fun of their beliefs and he would not be a bully.
Iām from Cincinnati, I know tornadoes up close and personally and it never made it alright for me to be mean, spiteful and nasty to anyone. I was simply grateful that my children and I were alive.
If you were in the path of one of the tornadoes last night, I sincerely hope you are ok and that you escaped with your home and your life intact.
Well, for someone who doesnāt āKNOWā everyone here or their backgrounds, it looks REALLY bad. To me itās bullying or appears to be bullying.I have to agree with tax
it appears you may have jumped to conclusions. first Texas a former Mormon, and several of us have been posting on these topics for quite some time, so we understand each otherās sense of humor.
take a breath everything will be fine
you have made three posts now judging harshly those having some fun. What is worse? Our humor or your continued rants bashing those of us having some fun?Well, for someone who doesnāt āKNOWā everyone here or their backgrounds, it looks REALLY bad. To me itās bullying or appears to be bullying.
Iām not upset, I donāt need to take a breath, I am able to breath just fine thank you for your concern. Iām insulted for those who are being mocked. Thatās all. I just donāt think itās needed to be so rude and tacky.
Just because someone is a former Catholic, does that give them license to berate other Catholics over their Catholic beliefs?
Yāall may understand each other and your senses of humor, doesnāt mean that the rest of us understand it. And just because itās humor it doesnāt make it good humorā¦Just sayin.
lolā¦or donāt read my postsā¦TK - All he wants is you to be a little nicer. Youāre having fun should not include mocking people of other religions. If you canāt accept that, then you shouldnāt post.
